Dear Teachers, Students and Parents:
After 62 years of providing a quality dance education to the students of Kent County and surrounding Rhode Island areas, it is with heavy heart that we have decided to close the Dance Center. This has not been an easy decision to make.
Over the years, we have brought you into our dance family, created a wonderful dance experience for you, given you the poise and confidence to perform on a stage, and offered the opportunity to form lifelong friendships. We have proudly presented our students in performances at Disney and on Cruise Line ships. We have hosted many fundraising events for charities such as Christmas Is, RI Heart Assoc., Katrina Disaster Fund, and more. Additionally, we have provided the community with entertainment over the years in various shows, including annual Christmas and Easter shows at the RI Mall with Salty Brian and Dave Kane, and also performing in parades, nursing homes, hospitals, and community and church fairs.
These memories and friendships have made this a very tough decision. However, due to personal reasons, we feel the time has come to end this era.
We will miss all of you and your families, as well as the pleasure and pride we have derived from seeing you each week in your dance classes and witnessing you grow into such fine young adults and wonderful dancers. To our young dancers who just began, we hope you have enjoyed the foundation of dance and continue your education.
We want to thank all the teachers who have been part of our dance family. We have always taken pride in having an outstanding faculty. To Artistic Director Maria, and to Christine, Aby, Brittany, and Kim, THANK YOU for your loyalty and dedication to our Dance Center and our students, always giving your best.
THANK YOU, students and parents, for being an important part of Rita Beaulieu Dance. We trust you have enjoyed and benefited from your classes and hope you will always look back fondly on the memories.
With cherished memories,
Rita Santilli and Patty Paolucci
We will be having a “Farewell Party” on Sunday, September 18th from 1:00 – 4:00 pm here at our Center. We hope everyone stops by. Please spread the word to former students and families so that they may have the opportunity to visit as well. Take home a special memory.
